Riding our high-performance snowmobiles we instruct and guide beginners and experts to safely enjoy all aspects of snowmobiling. Trail riding, powder turns, and hill climbing are just some of the techniques you will enjoy this week, not to mention the incredible winter scenery of snow-capped trees, powder bowls and wildlife such as moose, elk and mountain caribou. Optional programmes include snowshoeing, cross-country, downhill and heli-skiing, hot springs visits and scenic flights. A great tour for all levels of experience.

2017 Tours start on Sundays throughout the season.

Day 1 Sun Arrive Revelstoke. Check in at Glacier House Resort after your flight and transfer. This great snowmobile resort offers comfortable fire-place rooms and log chalets, indoor pool, spa, sauna, fitness room, restaurant and a cozy pub. Enjoy a welcome drink and dinner in the ‘Sledders’ pub tonight.

Day 2 Mon Lake Revesltoke Trail / Frisby Ridge. After breakfast, we take you through your snowmobile safety instruction and equip you with boots, a snowmobile suit and helmet. We ride along Lake Revelstoke for great views of the Selkirk Mountains and wind our way up to the subalpine of the Monashee Range. After lunch we ascend on the trails to Frisby Ridge alpine meadows for our first alpine adventure. More trails await us as we head back to Glacier House Resort.

Day 3 Tue Boulder Mountain & Hot springs. This morning we ride across ‘Streeter Street’ and head up the scenic Veideman Trail that brings us to the alpine cabin. From here it is only a short climb to the amazing alpine meadows of this large riding area. Play in the deep snow and learn to safely negotiate steeper hills and drops, learn to side-hill and have fun exploring the alpine landscape of Boulder Mountain. We return on the trails to Glacier House Resort. After lunch, we board our minivan, ride down to Arrow Lakes and take a ferry to visit the relaxing waters of Halcyon Hot Springs. We return to the lodge for dinner..SNO-Par2

Day 4 Wed Boulder Mountain / Jordan Valley  This morning a later start sees us snowmobiling to the Jordan Valley, where a meandering river is flanked by sheer cliffs and forests on either side. Then we head for the alpine meadows and frozen lakes of Boulder Mountain, where more alpine riding awaits. Known for its infamous Super Bowl, Turbo Hill and the sensational 150 horsepower cliffs of ‘Turbo’ Hill, there is a lot of alpine terrain to explore. A thrilling ride through the trees brings us back to the valley bottom, where we head back to the lodge.

Day 5 Thu BBQ on Frisby Ridge. This morning is free to visit Revelstoke or sleep in. After lunch (or bring your lunch on the mountain) we snowmobile to the alpine beauty of Frisby Ridge for some great afternoon riding fun. Hungry yet?? Get ready for a cosy candle light Steak or Salmon BBQ dinner in ‘Glacier Station’ our cabin up at 2000 m. We return along the alpine trails in the dark, another unforgettable experience, guided only by our headlamps back to the bright lights of Glacier House Resort below.

Day 6 Fri Frisby Ridge / Boulder Mountain. Our last day of fun-filled riding starts with a scenic exploration of the forests of Frisby Ridge or Boulder Mountain. Just a 20-min ride away, this is one of our favourite mountain areas, with lots of deserted trails through the scenic Columbia Mountains, and a 1250 m drop from ridge to valley floor. We next head for the alpine level, where you can enjoy more of the fantastic riding this area has to offer. We’ll even find some great powder spots to play in, as well as abandoned log cabins, a reminder that trappers were the first explorers of these mountains. Don’t forget your camera as we might run into some of the big moose that wander through these valleys. After this last great ride, we head home to the lodge we cruise through the trees back to the lodge. Return approx. 3.30 pm.

Day 7 Sat Depart. After a hearty breakfast your snowmobile adventure ends. If there’s time you can fit in a last massage or shopping trip. We will arrange transfers for your flight home (which will arrive in the UK tomorrow, Sunday). You'll want to come back for more next year!
